The killing of a priest is the starting point for Boomerang! (1947), which has Andrews as a district attorney.
As Martin Lynn (Farley Granger) heads to the church, he first hears a brass band playing the gospel song "Yield not to Temptation." Then a choir sings the chorus of another old gospel song, "Bring them In." The lyrics to both songs are appropriate for the situation.
Dana Andrews was also directed by Mark Robson in I Want You (1951), which also co-starred Farley Granger, and My Foolish Heart (1949), that also featured Robert Keith.
