Film restored between 2014 and 2022 by the Center for Conservation and Restoration of the Filmoteca de Catalunya.

Only eight copies of the original high quality 35mm Cinefotocolor negatives were made and all of them got lost in less than a decade. After that, only 16mm black and white copies were preserved in a decaying quality, and the original color version was considered completely lost, until in the early 2010's, several frames of the original color version were uncovered in an archive. With these, using the original colors of these frames as reference and the preserved 16mm black and white copies, a full on digital restoration was performed of the highest quality the preserved material allowed. This restoration took eight years of work between 2014 and 2022.
