The series fared poorly in the ratings, so it was reduced to half hour episodes in the second year, and renamed "Redigo".
Richard Egan was the only member of the main cast to return for the second season.
In the UK the series was entitled 'Big G' when aired on ITV.
The producers wrote out series regulars Anne Seymour and Terry Moore at mid-season. Charles Bronson and Warren Vanders became regulars for the rest of the season. (Source: NY Times, 9 December, 1962, pg. 73.)
