Edit

The female trio singing the "Milk Song" is The Sylte Sisters, twins Deanna and Deannda and big sister Joan. They are from a cattle ranch in Rathdrum Idaho and were first known as the. Boyle Sisters Deanna Sylte is the stepmother of actress Lisa Lucas from "House Wotjout a Christmas Tree" and "An Unmarrried Woman"
It was reported in the UK press (Kensington Post, April 21st 1961) that this film "ran into opposition from advertising big-wigs in the States, and it was thought at one time they would prevent its release". This would explain why it sat on the shelf for so long and, indeed, was first released in the UK.
Final film of director H. Bruce Humberstone.
Dana Andrews and Jeanne Crain also starred together in State Fair (1945), Duel in the Jungle (1954), and Hot Rods to Hell (1966).
