Janette Scott in Siege of the Saxons (1963)

Trivia

Siege of the Saxons

Edit
Parts of Richard Clarke's performance is re-voiced by Robert Rietty.
Much of the battle at the end comes from stock footage from The Black Knight (1954) .
The white armour worn by Ronald Lewis appears to be the same armour worn by Alan Ladd in the Black Knight made in the 1950's.
This was one of the few non-Hammer films to be shot at Bray Studios, Berkshire, during the company's occupancy. The production recycled interior and exterior sets immediately recognizable from the Hammer films The Crimson Blade (1963) and The Devil-Ship Pirates (1964).
Many costumes and props are reused from both The Black Knight (1954) and Sword of Lancelot (1963). King Arthur wears the same costume in this film as he wears in Sword of Lancelot, in which the character was played by Brian Aherne . Interestingly, in this film Arthur is played by Mark Dignam, who also appeared in Sword of Lancelot as Merlin. This movie also utilizes a large amount of stock footage from The Black Knight (1954) and Rogues of Sherwood Forest (1950).
