Beach Blanket Bingo (1965)

Trivia

Beach Blanket Bingo

Edit
Lorelei's tail was made of fiberglass and latex. During Lorelei's close-ups, Marta Kristen would wear a costume belt to allow her to use her legs for swimming whenever her character is only seen waist up.
Robin Ward (real name Jackie Ward) did the singing for Linda Evans. Ward's female background vocals heard in the film are by The Blossoms.
This was the final full appearance in a "Beach Party" movie for Frankie Avalon. He only appears in six minutes of the follow-up, How to Stuff a Wild Bikini (1965).
The "R.F." on Bonehead's hat stands for "Rat Fink", a hairy rat with jagged teeth and bulging eyes that was a parody of Mickey Mouse, created by artist and custom car creator, Ed 'Big Daddy' Roth. Roth was famous for being the architect of "Odd Rods", strange cartoon monster characters in hot rods, featured on stickers and cards in the the 1960s and 70s. The hat, which Roth dubbed a "Hillbilly Crash Helmet", became a surfing and hot-rodding icon. Bonehead also wears a t-shirt with another of Roth's monster characters, "Surfink", and one of Roth's custom cars - a yellow beach buggy dubbed the "Surfite" - can be seen clearly in the background of the airport scenes.
When Eric Von Zipper is "putting the snatch" on Sugar Kane, he is having trouble lifting her out of her bed. A motorcycle member asks Eric Von Zipper if he needs any help. Eric Von Zipper snaps, "Please! I'd rather do it myself!" This is a parody of an Anacin commercial of the time, where a housewife says, "Mother, please! I'd rather do it myself!"
