The Wild Chase (1965)

Trivia

The Wild Chase

Edit
Neither Sylvester nor Wile E. Coyote speaks in this short, which is uncharacteristic for Sylvester but normal for his partner in deviousness.
The last Sylvester cartoon produced by David H. DePatie and Friz Freleng, and the first Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner cartoon produced by DePatie and Freleng during the Golden Age of American animation.
The final Looney Tunes cartoon to star Sylvester until Carrotblanca (1995) and Father of the Bird (1997). However, Sylvester makes a brief cameo in A Taste of Catnip (1966).
Four gags are reused from previous Looney Tunes cartoons: The tunnel gag was first used in Hopalong Casualty (1960); the flat boulder and iron pellets gags were first used in Wild About Hurry (1959); and the cloud gag was first used in Zoom and Bored (1957).
Fourth out of Fifth and Final Sylvester and Speedy Gonzales cartoon directed by Friz Freleng during the DePatie-Freleng era.
