A brief street scene (approx. 00:44:53 to 00:45:10) shows the Municipal Building underground entrance Jack Ruby would use to shoot Lee Harvey Oswald seven years later.
The song "China Star" (playing on the radio in the background at approx. 00:10:00) tells the story of a cabaret dancer in Saigon, long before anyone had heard of Viet Nam. This song has not been included on any of the film's soundtrack releases (despite the fact that the "Bob" character predicts "I think that one'll sell a million").
