Alan Hale Jr. and Bobby Clark in Casey Jones (1957)

Trivia

Casey Jones

Edit
The locomotive used in this show is the same one used in Tales of Wells Fargo (1957).
The train was called the Cannonball Express. Cannonball was a character Dub Taylor portrayed in a series of westerns from 1938-1950.
Casey Jones works for the Midwest & Central Railroad Company.
The train was provided by the Sierra Railroad better known as Railtown 1897 historical park, Jamestown Ca. These trains have probably been used in more Western movies than any other railroad. Such movies and shows as The opening of Pettcoat Junction ( the water tower is at the Railtown Station), Tales of Wells Fargo, Rare Breed, Pale Rider, Back to the Future III, just to name a few. Look for Locomotive numbers, 3, 18 and 28, In your favorite westerns. These trains are still operational, if you ever get a chance to visit Jamestown California, stop by Railtown 1897, it's worth the visit.
Casey's steam locomotive is called "The Cannonball Express". It's listed as Engine No. 1.
