When Grand National unveiled their legendary release Plan 9 from Outer Space (1957) at the Hammer preview theatre on 15 February 1960, they also announced Devil's Partner as the co-feature. The two films opened at Coventry's Opera cinema on Monday, 21 March 1960 for a six-day run, then moved to random places (Derby, Hastings, Long Eaton, Motherwell, etc) during the rest of 1960.
To prepare for his role as the sheriff, Spencer Carlisle spent two weeks with the sheriff's staff of the police department in Carpinteria, California.
Writer Stanley Clements played Stash starting in the East Side Kids comedy, Smart Alecks (1942). When Leo Gorcey left the Bowery Boys in 1955, Clements was cast as Duke Coveleskie starting in Fighting Trouble (1956) and ending in 1958 when the series completed its run.
