Maybe most of you don't know about this movie because it's an old movie, but i can say that this movie is one of the greatest movies ever done in the history of art.
Dgamilah or Jamila, an Algerian girl who loves her homeland,will join the patriotic movement of her country to liberate her homeland from the french soldiers who occupy her country.
Jamila will be much braver to face the soldiers and fire them out of her country, she will plan with her friends to realize their dream by forcing the foreign soldiers to withdrawal into their country(France). Jamila and her friends begin their movement,but many of them will be killed by the fire of the enemies.This will not frustrate their will, but they will be much stronger and will push them to continue their work.Unexpected event will happen when the soldiers of the other side will catch Jamila while she's preparing for an operation with her friends, but she decided to sacrifice by herself to save her friends from a certain death. After she is caught by the enemies, they will try to get some information about the patriotic movement she belongs to, but she refuses to give them any information.Here they will start to torture her in order to let her speak, but she prefers to be tortured and never tell them about what she knows. While Jamila is still in prison, her friends and the other Algerian people will choose the revolution in order to liberate their country, and they will finally succeed,and Jamila's dream will be realized.
