Trivia

Johnny Rocco

Edit
His top billed title role for popular child star of the 1950's, Richard Eyer, marked his real life transition to a teenager. Like many child stars, his entry into his teenage years basically led to the end of his feature film career. After this film, the remainder of his acting career was in episodic television with the exception of a small part in only one feature film. After a decade, he retired from acting a became an elementary school teacher.
Allied Artists put this at the bottom of a pre-packaged double feature with their blockbuster hit, William Castle's "House on Haunted Hill" (1959).
Johnny Rocco was also the name of the character played by Edward G. Robinson in Key Largo (1948).
Tony and Johnny live at the Sir Launfal apartments. "Sir Launfal" (aka Sir Landevale or Lanval), King Arthur's steward, is the subject of of a 14th century romance written by Thomas Chestre.
