The phrase "Sir Loin of Beef" was used in Rabbit Hood (1949) by Bugs to con the gullible Sheriff of Nottingham.
The previous post said that King Arthur was a caricature of Mel Blanc. Sir Loin of Beef looks more like Mel than King Arthur does.
