    The Yakety Yak: Milt Rackmil, chief of U-I studios and Decca records, tells me he turned over the first profit check from the movie "Operation Petticoat" to star [co-owner] Cary Grant last Monday: $709,000! Milt points out that usually suich participating shares aren't paid until a couple of years have elapsed. "Petticoat" was relaased last November. . . .

    The hit Universal film, Operation Petticoat, had a holiday opening in Chicago on Cristmas day, 1959. The film ran at the Chicago theatre until mid-February.
