Real life Blue Angel, Lt. Edward "Duke" Ventimiglia was tasked with shooting aerial footage for the show during his time with the team. It was this experience that sparked his interest in a television career. After he finished his tour with the Blue Angels, Duke resigned from the Navy subsequently pursuing a writing and producing career in television that spanned forty years. He became well known as E. Duke Vincent in the Hollywood television community.
