This is a beautiful film adaption of the classic Swedish children's book by Elsa Beskow. The great value of this film is pure nostalgia, those who have no relation to the children's book will probably not find so much of value in the film. As far as I know, this film is only available with Swedish language.
The settings are good, unlike other films in this series the settings are not props in a studio, but real outdoor filming. The film follows the book extremely close.
The only minus is that there is no dialogue, only a narrator. But that's a small minus, this is a good film for smaller children (and of course adults who remember their Elsa Beskow!).
My children (2 and 4 years of age) want to see this film over and over again, so now I know every single word in the film by heart! :^)
