Sunshine's gun is the same Mauser model like the one that was used to build Han Solo's blaster in Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977). The Mauser automatic pistol was made in Germany until 1936.
The truck is a Chevrolet G-506 1-1/2 ton 4x4 U.S. military truck from the early 1940s with a custom cab.
