Parwana (1971)

Trivia

Parwana

Edit
This is the first movie in which future superstar Amitabh Bachchan played a villain. He played a villain in Don and Pukar and then in Aankhen.
Amitabh Bachchan was living with Editor Neerja Shah and her family, he would practice all his lines at their home for the film. Amitabh would get Neerja Shah and her sisters for role play for his lines and get them ready for the lines of the scene, they would all end up giggling away, as acting wasn't acceptable in the norm society.
Navin Nischal's second movie after his debut with Rekha Sawan Badon. Yogeeta Bali's first movie. Neither Navin nor Yogeeta could establish a successful star status despite the movie being a hit. Both floundered in supporting roles or B grade movies.
Sanjeev Kumar was the first choice for Amitabh's role. But he did not have any dates.
Johanny Gaddar (2007) was highly inspired from this movie, most of the scenes of Amitabh Bachchan used in the movie.
