Carry on Screaming! (1966)

Trivia

Carry on Screaming!

Edit
Fenella Fielding wore the same, now iconic, red dress for the entire five weeks of filming. There were no doubles or replacements.
At 97 minutes, this is the longest "Carry On" film.
Production took five weeks and the budget was £179,000.
This was the last "Carry On" film distributed by Anglo-Amalgamated. Stuart Levy had died and his partner Nat Cohen made it known that the "Carry Ons" were too low-brow, as he wanted to move upmarket, even though the films had been extremely profitable for the company. Rank took over distribution.
Harry H. Corbett was paid £12,000 for his role, the most a "Carry On" actor had ever been offered at that point.

Director Cameo

Gerald Thomas: as the voice of Oddbod Junior. This role is his first ever. He would provide the uncredited voice for the Mynah Bird nine years later in another of his films, Carry on Behind (1975), his second and final acting role.
