Chuck Connors in Ride Beyond Vengeance (1966)

Trivia

Ride Beyond Vengeance

Edit
The names of the characters in the book on which "Ride Beyond Vengeance" is based are also the names of the characters in the movie, with one notable exception. The name of the man played by Chuck Connors has been changed from "Julius Rupp" to "Jonas Trapp".
Claude Akins appeared with Chuck Connors and Paul Fix in three episodes of The Rifleman (1958). He survived in one of them.
The movie changed its title from that of its source, a 1956 novel called "The Night of the Tiger," out of concern audiences might think they'd be seeing a movie set in a jungle.
This was Gloria Grahame's only film appearance in the 1960s.
The opening scenes where the census taker (James MacArthur) walks thru the town are filmed on the same sets as The Andy Griffith Show (1960) .'Andy's home' is clearly visible in the scene where the census taker walks down a sidewalk with some children.
