Alice in Wonderland: An X-Rated Musical Fantasy

Edit
Kristine DeBell's debut. Years later, she said in an interview that she had no idea what type of film she was making when she was cast. She thought it was going to be a family version of the novel. But when she showed up on set, and read the script, she realized she'd be totally naked for most of the movie. Yet, she said she did not feel embarrassed being nude, as she was a wild girl, and felt good because they were paying her just to get naked.
Produced as a softcore film, the film was re-released in a re-edited version which incorporated hardcore footage that was not shot during the film's original production. In the XXX reissue, the footage of Kristine De Bell performing oral sex on the Mad Hatter was actually privately shot footage of De Bell performing oral on producer Bill Osco, who convinced her that it was necessary for the film, but it did not appear in the original theatrical version.
Jason Williams and Bill Osco planned to make an X-rated parody of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz as a follow-up to this film. According to David J. Hogan's book "The Wizard of OZ FAQ," it would have been called "Dirty Dorothy." L. Frank Baum's novel, published in 1900, was in the public domain, like Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland, which is why it would have been possible to produce it. Williams and Osco made The Great American Girl Robbery (1979) instead, and though other projects were planned, including a American Graffiti style film, and Pee Wee Pigskin, a Bad News Bears inspired football film with children, Williams had a falling out with Osco.
Shot in ten days.
Ken Russell was planning a remake of this film before he died.
