The film, with the title "Lingua d'argento", was rejected by the Italian Commission both in the first and second instance. The new edition, completely transformed and with the new title (Ecco lingua d'argento), obtains the authorization with the prohibition of viewing for minors under 18, after the cutting of some other scenes. The cuts were related to a sex scene between Roberto Pace and Carmen Villani and another one between Pace and Nadia Cassini.
