Actor George Eastman said co-writer Bruno Mattei kept wandering around the set offering advice on how to film the script to Joe D'Amato, all of which the director ignored.
George Eastman admitted in an interview that he didn't like the film itself but has crystal clear memories of enjoying making it. He also lovingly recalled his happy relationship with director Joe D'Amato, who he said was a kind, gregarious and talented man, despite making some of the most gruesome exploitation movies of the period.
