This British comedy is a spin-off from Man About the House (1973) along with George & Mildred (1976). These were the shows that were brought to America called Three's Company (1976) and then the spin off The Ropers (1979). The American version of this series was Three's a Crowd (1984).
Richard O'Sullivan also composed the series' theme tune. It was arranged by Brian Bennett (of The Shadows) who starred with O'Sullivan in the Cliff Richard films Summer Holiday (1963) and Wonderful Life (1964)
The surprisingly cheap- looking, low quality title sequence used for season one was quickly replaced by a more sophisticated animated one for series two.
