This movie tells about Finnish people in the olden days.Aika Hyvä Ihmiseksi (1977) is a Rauni Mollberg film.It's based on some Aapeli's novels.The actor list looks quite handsome.Risto Salmi plays Jormalainen and Ossi Aronen his son Pietari.Raili Veivo is Karoliina.Toivo Mäkelä portrays Hurme, photographer and Irma Seikkula his wife.Vappu Jurkka plays the part of Mrs. Rusko.Martti Kainulainen is Harakka, janitor.Marja Korhonen plays Rakel Riippa.Her late husband Helge Herala plays Captain.Asko Sarkola plays Palkeinen.Mikko Nousiainen is Constable Metso.Topi Tuomainen is Takkunen.Olavi Ahonen plays Health inspector Hyttinen.Matti Tuominen is Kekäläinen.Maija-Leena Soinne is Helga, waitress.Gustav Wiklund plays Police chief.Lilga Kovanko plays Foreign dancer.Esko Hukkanen plays the part of Bailiff.A little while back I saw this film on a VHS having seen it maybe once before.I liked some things in this movie, like Mäkelä's portrayal of the alcoholic photographer.And Marja Korhonen's battle with her money eating, dying husband is something pretty memorable.But as a movie it's pretty mediocre.
