Strange, crazy, funny, silly, goofy, charming, movie thanks to the amazing, funny and charming Jean-Paul. Belmondo is no Delon in the looks department, nobody is but Belmondo has what Delon didn't have oodles of charm and personality which makes Belmondo so attractive. That's what made him a superstar besides his talent. Playing Mike the stuntman and "Bruno" a feminine fellow who's scared of his own shadow. Belmondo's comedic timing is spot on. This movie had the potential to be a great movie but the leading characters have zero chemistry together. I blame Welch for that, she has a reputation for not getting along with cast and crew members. I find her cold and aloof that's the vibe she brings to the movie and towards Belmondo. There's no warmth or anything no love scenes. The leads are in love aren't they? I don't like Welch I don't think she's beautiful and she doesn't know how to act. A different actress with comedic talent an actress Belmondo could go toe to toe with, play off each other would have made a world of difference in the outcome for the movie. Belmondo carried the movie on his own. Now that's talent. Low rating because of Welch.
