Trivia

Murder at the World Series

Edit
KTRK-TV sportscaster Bob Allen (1976 - 2016) has a cameo appearance as a sports reporter in the Astros locker room; in real life, the Houston Astros did win the World Series on November 1, 2017 against the L.A. Dodgers but the Astros home games are played at Minute Maid Park (formerly Enron Field prior to 2002) since the 2000 season.
Final film of actress Nancy Kelly.
In the original network airing on ABC, then KTRK Eyewitness News anchor David Glodt (who took a job offer with ABC News after 1978 becoming a news director commencing with This Week with David Brinkley; as of 2018 the owner of InCompass Media including broadcasting for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo) also appeared in a brief news report in the movie. His scene has since been edited out.
Hugh O'Brian's last name is misspelled as 'O'Brien' in the TV Guide ad for the film.
Cynthia Avila's debut.
