    Wizards is a classic 1977 animated post-apocalyptic fantasy adventure film, written and directed by Ralph Bakshi. Wizards is set in a post-apocalyptic future and is the story of Avatar (Bob Holt) a wizard, who embarks on a quest to fight and defeat his evil twin brother Blackwolf (Steve Gravers) who is using ancient technology and old film footage of Adolf Hitler to inspire his army of mutant warriors and use a projector as a secret weapon, to wipe out the fairy, elve and dwarf races, as part of Blackwolf's evil goal to rule the planet. But Avatar is not alone and is joined in his quest by his companions Weehawk the brave elf warrior (Richard Romanus), Elinore the beautiful fairy princess (Jesse Wells) and the robot assassin Necron 99 renamed Peace (David Proval) as they travel to Blackwolf's wasteland Scorch as they set out to destroy the projector and aid the good fighting force of elve and dwarf warriors in combating Blackwolf's warriors in a war and rid the world of Blackwolf and Avatar engages Blackwolf in a final decisive confrontation, as they decide the outcome of the war and the fate of the world.
