This was 1978, and script supervisor Debra Hill was soon famous for co-producing John Carpenter's Halloween (1978). This explains why Ann Dusenberry who starred in this was considered for the lead role of babysitter Laurie Strode in Halloween, which of course went to Jamie Lee Curtis and launched her career. Ann previously appeared in the horror TV movie The Possessed (1977) with PJ Soles (Carrie) who then landed the role of Laurie's best friend Lynda.
