The original German title translates as &quot;Love-hunt Through 7 Beds&quot;, the English title &quot;I Love The Girls Who Do&quot; refers to a ditty by legendary comedian Max Miller about &quot;The Girls I Like&quot;: I like the girls who do, I like the girls who don&#39;t. I hate the girl who says she will and then she says she won&#39;t. But the girl I like best of all, and I think you&#39;ll say I&#39;m right, is the girl who says she never does but she looks as though she ... &#39;ere! That is not what this movie is about, however. It starts with a very questionable scene with blonde Sigrid (Alena Penz) and Thomas (Gunter Ziegler) taking care of their baby Stephen, with Sigrid running around in a sort of porno apron. After Thomas wanted to give the baby champagne, and Sigrid refuses because she &quot;doesn&#39;t want him to become an alcoholic&quot;, a lawyer arrives and both men watch the naked woman breastfeed the baby. So wrong on so many levels. Thomas breaks the third wall and narrates to the camera that in order to inherit his playboy uncle&#39;s fortune he had to seduce seven of his ex-girlfriends, to help him gain experience but really to piss off his prudish mother. There is a plot twist at the end which leads to the baby from the opening scene. I presume that some of the scenes with the individual girls were cut up and sold as Super-8 stag reels. As this was filmed before the liberalisation of pornography (§187) in Germany in 1975 so there is no realistic depiction of intercouse and the sex scenes are a bit silly, the actors essentially boinking naked. On the upside the tease and seduction part is given a lot of time, and great care is taken to spice up the scenes as much as possible. For example when Thomas meets the third girl (Uschi Glashauser) she turns out to be a yogurt-munching vegetarian who enjoys sex merely for its health benefits; while they are getting it on on the balcony they are watched by a gaggle of construction workers, who are eventually joined by the busty tea lady. This movie has a very decent plot and good-looking actors. Never mind the constant silly humor.

I Like the Girls Who Do

I LIKE THE GIRLS WHO DO is a typical West German sex comedy of the early 1970s. Beware the version available on Amazon Video which is heavily censored of all sexual content. The film is farcical in nature and follows the misfortunes of a young man who must make love to a different woman every day of the week in order to claim his inheritance. Expect bad fashions, worse dubbing, and a generally likable, kitchen sink, anything-goes type feel.

Young man&#39;s Uncle dies in a car accident because he was having sex while driving. He leaves said nephew a fortune...provided he beds 7 selected women in 7 days. The catch? Young lad is a virgin. The actor playing the lead ran the gamut of emotions. Confused and shy in the beginning, then starting to like it, then romantic. He even chewed out his fantasy girlfriend when he found out she was one of his uncle&#39;s concubines. Best scenes include a romp in a closed furniture store at night, only to have to deal with a drunk watchman, and the outdoor scene with the peeping construction workers. The baseball jokes were groaners too. This is soft x. Frontal nudity and no money shots. The ladies looked good. They weren&#39;t surgically fixed so that was refreshing. Some of the set-ups were a bit hammy but otherwise this is a decent erotic outing.
