In an interview covering his career, which primarily focused on this A-list films, director Martin Campbell was sideswiped when The Sex Thief and Eskimo Nell were mentioned. Clearly saving face when his early career was unexpectedly brought up, Campbell dismissively said that the interviewer must have had "dusty old videos" of them, inferring that they were obscure, unavailable titles, when both had received digital restorations/releases.
