Black Samson (1974)

Trivia

Black Samson

Edit
Much of inner-city backgrounds contain graffiti. It's fun to press pause and read it. It's not very authentic and appears to be painted by stage hands to poke fun at each other. Graffiti like "Paul Eats S---" and other messages are amusing.
Rockne Tarkington and William Smith were the original actors intended to play Williams and Roper in Enter the Dragon (1973).
First film directed by Charles Bail.
Filming had been completed for about a month before a distributor for this picture, Warner Bros., was announced.
In the car chase near the end of the film, Samson is depicted as driving a 1973 Chrysler New Yorker. The car the thugs jack is a 1964 Cadillac Coupe DeVille. Also driven in the chase by the crooks is a red 1962 Chevrolet Bel Air station wagon, and a green 1961 Oldsmobile F-85, a model that would become the Cutlass.
