Shashi Kapoor, Rajesh Khanna, Vinod Khanna, and Mumtaz Askari in Prem Kahani (1975)

Trivia

Prem Kahani

Edit
As Mumtaz was getting married and was to retire from acting, Raj Khosla made this film as to be her last film as an gift.
Vinod Khanna was very close to director Raj Khosla. He kept insisting Khosla sign him for the film. Khosla told Vinod that the lead cast was already signed. He could not replace Rajesh or Shashi. The small role of the Pathan truck driver had been given to Feroz Khan. Vinod then got Feroz to give up the role so he could do the film.
Mukesh, Mohammed Rafi, Kishore Kumar And Lata Mangeshkar all Greats sang for this film.
Moushumi Chatterjee was signed for the film and appeared at the mahurat. It was Rajesh Khanna who insisted she be replaced by Mumtaz.
The line "Prem Kahani Mein Ek Ladka Hota" from the song "Prem Kahani Mein" from Prem Kahani (1975) sounds like the line "Do Ajnabi Kaha Jaa Rahe Hain" from the song "Haye Re Haye Re from Kushi (2003).
