Tag: The Assassination Game (1982)

Trivia

Tag: The Assassination Game

Edit
The opening credits are an obvious spoof of Maurice Binder's designs for the James Bond series.
Linda Hamilton (Susan Swayze) and Bruce Abbott (Loren Gersh) met on the set and were married for a seven-year period following the film's 1982 release.
Forest Whitaker's movie debut.
While TAG player Marshal Holmes was not shown in the movie, his missing person report recounted the following information about him: he lived in Braden Dorm, was 5"5", 165 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes. He or March were Gersh's second murder victim.
In scene 2 Susan's target Schooster played by Steven Peterman and Jim Veneziano shoot one another when Susan ducks. The credits simply list Veneziano as an anonymous "TAG player" suggesting his character was never given a name; but towards the end at the TAG party he is referred to as Charlie. This suggests he was given a name why he was not credited is unknown. Moreover the progress chart contains a C Sterns thus he may have been Charlie Sterns.
