Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared-Syn (1983)

Trivia

Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared-Syn

Edit
Richard Band composed and recorded the score in eleven days.
The 2024 film, "The Fall Guy", features a movie within the movie named "Metalstorm". It is directly based on this film, including similar props, sets, characters an costumes.
Tim Thomerson's first film for Charles Band.
The late Richard Moll, who played Hurok, was discovered and cast by the producers of Night Court (1984) for the role of Bull Shannon, the towering bailiff, while shooting this film. Moll has said (often jokingly) in interviews that it was because the character of Hurok required his head to be shaved bald for the prosthetic makeup he was fitted with that he was cast as the bald-headed Shannon and had to keep his head clean for years afterward.
Charles Band would use the tagline "It's High Noon at the End of the Universe" again for the Full Moon Pictures production "Oblivion 2: Backlash".
