Sogni mostruosamente proibiti (1982)

Trivia

Sogni mostruosamente proibiti

Edit
Director Neri Parenti stated that shortly before filming a scene in a villa filled with faux animals, Paolo Villaggio put his hand on one of the animals and Parenti instinctively made a sound of a lion. Villaggio was immediately scared, so they decided to add this gag in the movie.
The sketch of the ceiling falling down under the pressure of water when the butler orders some water was reused in Ho vinto la lotteria di capodanno (1989), always starring Paolo Villaggio and directed by Neri Parenti.
Inspired by the novel The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (1939) by James Thurber, which inspired other two American movies: The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (1947) and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (2013).
The sketch of the saddle-less bicycle had already been used in Fantozzi contro tutti (1980) and later again in Fantozzi va in pensione (1986), both starring Paolo Villaggio and directed by Neri Parenti.
In a book, director Neri Parenti told that while preparing a scene where Paolo Coniglio (Paolo Villaggio) enters in the hotel lift and meets a bear, the trained bear called Pippo entered in the lift, but the system to prevent the lift to go upstairs didn't work. The crew was terrified thinking to a bear going up and down in a hotel lift, but fortunately he came out of the lift just on the first floor, which was empty.
