Sophie Marceau reveals she was asked to go topless by casting directors during audition. She explains she felt distress 'as a 16-year-old girl, when those 50-to 60-year-old guys [in casting sessions] asked me: 'Take off your shirt because it's a sexy scene.' Marceau says she obeyed because she was scared she wouldn't get the role if she didn't do as they said. "You are asked to undress because you have nude scenes, so what are you going to say? No, I don't take my clothes off? It happened to me of course, I didn't take off my clothes completely, I just took off my bra, but what if it's in the scene? You're 18 years old, it's a Hollywood studio asking you, there's the director in the room, yes, you take your shirt off. Frankly, actresses who say, 'No, but who do you think I am? "and leave, I don't know many," she adds.
