''None [of the lead cast] was ever in a theatrical motion picture before now'' according to the movie's production notes despite the fact that Debra Varnado, who played Debbie Hughes, had previously played Charlotte in 'All the Right Moves' (1983), whilst actor Don Franklin had previously appeared in the cinema movies 'Somewhere in Time' (1980) and 'Northville Cemetery Massacre' (1977).
A song from the movie had an associated music video produced as a music video tie-in. This was the track "Do You Want it Right Now" by Siedah Garrett. The song went to No. #63 on the U.S. Rhythm and Blues Chart and No. #3 on the U.S. Hot Dance Music-Club Play Chart.
