The original ending had the terrorists hanged. But an ending that had them shot when they broke free aired in the US. The other ending was shown internationally.
Rene Enriquez, Ina Balin and Jack Gilford all passed away in 1990, five years after this film first aired on television. Balin and Gilford died 18 days apart in June of 1990.
