Donald Sutherland and Suzanne Somers in Nothing Personal (1980)

Trivia

Nothing Personal

Edit
Star Suzanne Somers writes in her autobiography that Donald Sutherland pretty much assumed direction of the actors once it became apparent that filmmaker George Bloomfield was in over his head.
Final theatrical feature film of actor Chief Dan George who portrayed Oscar.
Several Canadians appeared in the movie. These included cast members Donald Sutherland, Saul Rubinek, Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara, Joe Flaherty and Tony Rosato.
According to a review at the 'TV Guide' website, this picture ''...is a Canadian tax-shelter movie manufactured to take advantage of the concessions north of the border''.
The picture sat in limbo and stagnated in development hell for about six and a half years between its inception in early 1972 until about mid 1978.

Cameo

Craig Russell: The female impersonator as a talk show guest who is actually suppose to be Mae West but this is not officially acknowledged in the movie's credits. Reportedly, he actually worked for Mae West as her secretary/companion according to his bio information. The 'Ravepad'website states: ''As a teenager, Russell became president of Mae West's fan club, and briefly worked and lived in Los Angeles as West's secretary.'' His impersonation of West in 'Nothing Personal'(1980) is so authentic in this film that one easily believes that it is the real Mae West.
Joe Flaherty: As Patrol Car Policeman #2.
Catherine O'Hara: As Audrey.
Chief Dan George: As Oscar.
Eugene Levy: As Marty.
