István Bujtor was Bud Spencer's Hungarian dubbing voice in his incredibly popular Italian and/or American films. Bujtor often said, that Bud Spencer personally advised him to make movies like he did.

The museum was housed in a monastery built at the same time as the church, and although the Benedictine order was banned from Tihany from the beginning of the 1950s until 1990, the film still presents the abbey as if it was one of the central monasteries of the Benedictines at the time of the story. although the monastery complex was only returned in 1994.
