Bugs pops out of the ground and mentions Chavez Ravine and compares it to the Astrodome. He is actually referring to Dodger Stadium, which was built over or near Chavez Ravine, and acquired the nickname.
Bugs' mailbox is labeled 'B. Bunny, Esq.'
The whirlybird ear trick young Bugs refers to had earlier been part of a Peanuts cartoon story arc. Snoopy used his ears in a similar fashion and was referred to as a whirlydog.
