Spotkanie na Atlantyku

I watched "Spotkanie na Atantyku" (Meeting on the Atlantic) with interest. The plot takes place on the ocean liner, which returns from the United States to Poland. The passengers on the ship include Professor Nowak (Ignacy Gogolewski), a lecturer; his partner Magda (Teresa Budzisz-Krzyzanowska); singer Irena (Malgorzata Niemirska), in love with Zbyszek (Marek Lewandowski); a priest (Waclaw Ulewicz), taking care of the old emigrant (Feliks Parnell); and a mysterious man-Walter (Marek Walczewski). The professor thinks he has seen him before and feels guilty towards him. Walter provokes him and plays a mysterious game. "Meeting on the Atlantic" is about remorse, ambition, love, life, and death. To me there were many interesting scenes and dialogues, but Kawalerowicz's attention was not focused. Or maybe he tried to encompass too much, so the result was not outstanding. But you can definitely enjoy the acting of many popular actors.
