Aberraciones sexuales de una mujer casada

Edit
Shortly after its completion, Aberraciones sexuales de una mujer casada (1981) was acquired by Eurociné who released the film in France. Eurociné had new scenes shot by Olivier Mathot who used the pseudonym 'Claude Plaut'. These new scenes were flashbacks set in Paris and featured Olivier Mathot as Cecilia's uncle. The title was also changed to Cecilia (1983) and is the more common version to find while the original Spanish version is more obscure.
The title "Aberraciones sexuales de una mujer casada" (Sexual Perversions of a Married Woman) was conceived by the Spanish distributors to make the film sound more sensational for the market in Spain. Jesús Franco disliked the new title, feeling it was too trashy and absurd; nor was he particularly fond of the Eurociné title Cecilia (1983) used for the French version.
