Theatrical film debut of Andrew "Dice" Clay, who was billed simply as just "Andrew Clay."
The film originally aired in a "PG" version that was missing some of the raunchier humor. When it underperformed in theaters, the cut footage was added back in and re-rated "R" by the MPAA. The "PG" version was then later used for all American home video releases until the 2019 Blu-ray release by Vinegar Syndrome, at which point the "R" rated version was seen again.
Andrew Dice Clay came up with the song "Schlongini Shuffle" to introduce his character Tony Schlongini.
This film was screened for Universal, who turned down an offer to distribute this movie in theaters.
