This cartoon would frequently reuse the same stock sequences when Bruce Banner transformed into the Hulk.
Unlike in other versions of the Hulk, Dr. Banner's clothes reappeared on him after his transformations.
This series takes place in the Earth-8107 version of the Marvel Comics multiverse, together with Spider-Man (1981) and Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends (1981).
Rio and his daughter Rita were original characters created for this series.
On this show, Major Talbot's first name was changed from Glenn to "Ned".
