Former KISS lead guitarist Vinnie Vincent, going by his real name, Vinnie Cusano, co-wrote the song "Our Love Was Meant to Be". The song appeared on the second-season episode "One-on-One".
There is an urban legend that the show was surprisingly popular in South Korea due to "Chachi" being a Korean slang word for "penis." In fact, the show never aired on regular Korean television. (It did briefly air on the US Armed Forces Network but was never dubbed or subtitled into Korean)
