The movie's intended sequel, originally entitled ''Paradise Beach'', was re-titled ''The Beach Girls II'', according to an article published in the 24th July 1982 issue of show-business trade-paper 'The Hollywood Reporter'. However, in the end no follow-up movie has ever been made.
