An abortive attempt by the apartheid government to cash in on its loophole-ridden lucrative film subsidy scheme in the late 1980s: the South African Broadcasting Corporation and the Department of Defense were also involved in this and most of the production crew worked under pseudonyms, including the then Prime Minister P. W. Botha's daughter.
