Warm Nights on a Slow Moving Train (1987)

Trivia

Warm Nights on a Slow Moving Train

Edit
The name of the poem that 'The Man' quotes from is "Fire and Ice" by Robert Frost. The film's end credits credit this by stating: ''Excerpt from 'Fire and Ice' by Robert Frost gratefully acknowledged.''
Reportedly, producer Ross Dimsey took the film away from writer-director Bob Ellis and re-cut it quite excessively. Ellis disowned the version that was released, and hoped to eventually self distribute his director's cut, which was sadly destroyed in a house fire later on.
One of four film and television collaborations of actress Wendy Hughes and producer Patric Juillet. The productions are: Luigis Ladies (1989), Remember Me (1985), Boundaries of the Heart (1988) and Warm Nights on a Slow Moving Train (1987).
This Australian movie was produced with the assistance of Film Victoria according to the end credits.
One of only three dramatic theatrical feature films directed by prolific Australian writer Bob Ellis. The movies are [in order]: Unfinished Business (1985), Warm Nights on a Slow Moving Train (1987) and The Nostradamus Kid (1993).
